We are receiving high numbers of requests for rescue packs for patients suffering from Asthma or COPD. If you have asthma or COPD and your nurse has not recommended that you have a rescue pack, you do not need one. Please take your usual inhalers regularly and take the advice issued by the government to socially distance yourselves, or isolate yourselves if you or someone in your household has symptoms.
If your asthma is becoming more poorly controlled contact the surgery. We will ensure you are promptly assessed and any actions taken.
If you are known to have more severe symptoms and ordinarily have a rescue pack of medication please ensure that you have your usual supply available at home.
Thank you for acting responsibly and calmly.
